Enfield is where the map runs out, and that is the useful thing to know about moving here. EN1 covers Enfield Town, the villa streets around Bush Hill Park station, and the ground going north towards Forty Hill and Bulls Cross, with a good deal of interwar and later housing filling the space between them — front drives, side gates, decent hallways. In the town centre, a flat above a shop is a service-access job rather than a front-door one, and worth mentioning at the booking. Enfield Town and Bush Hill Park stations run into Liverpool Street and the M25 is minutes north, which is precisely why so much of what we do in EN1 is a move between two different kinds of place rather than a shuffle inside one.

The one that shapes the job is where the other address is and what it is like, because on an EN1 move the two ends are usually very different properties and the harder of them sets the day.
